I must thank the Duchess for wearing those Goldsign jeans in Calgary on her North American tour this past summer. I did keep up with most of her outfits and I must say, the "buy that bug" hit me! Her rodeo look was too cute not to notice. I was also in the midst of my summer weight gain and looking to find some jeans that I really liked.

Joe's Jeans in the Honey fit have been my love for the past 3 years. But for some reason, I'm a real picky person, the pockets have been off-putting. I'm a conservative girl who uses purses, shoes and other accessories as my statement pieces so my jeans need to be simple. I still love Joe's Jeans but thanks to Kate Middleton, I've said, "hello lover" to Goldsign!


Goldsign Passion in Habit

The Passion fit was the style Catherine wore to the Calgary Stampede. After looking, Shopbop had them in stock for the best price. I looked at the details but was nervous about buying them online. Kate looked very petite and I am what you might describe as "curvy" or having some "junk in my trunk." I measured my waist and debated about which size I should buy. All the while, the stock was disappearing due to their popularity from the Duchess having worn them. I debated and held off until there were only 3 pairs left in stock! The great thing is I got them on sale for $112! They hug hips, thighs and bottom perfectly. You can actually feel them mold to your body. After washing them, I noticed that they retained color and went right back into shape. The stretch fabric along with the cotton is balanced just so you get a soft, comfortable jean that isn't stuck to your body. The tag on the back waistband is chic and won't limit you from wearing them for casual or dressy casual events.
