Earnhardt-Averette Fleur de Lis Invitation Suite

Creating wedding goodness for clients is always exciting but when they are your former cheerleaders, it's so much more! Adrienne and her family are a special group of people. They treat you like family at first meeting.

I first got to know her during her freshman year in high school. I was their new coach and they were my new girls. I was wreck because I wasn't sure of what to expect. One thing was for sure, they were the most loving girls a coach could ever ask for! I won't forget A's encouraging hugs after practice or her "no fear" attitude when we would create some wild stunt for her to do. She always smiled, looked good and did her best.

When I heard she was getting married, I wanted to do something special for her. I wanted to create a special design for the girl with the bright smile and her family that thought of me on the big Hawaii trip.

So we started with her color palette of fuchsia and navy metallics complimented by champagne and ecru stock and papers. A wanted something modern yet traditional for an evening wedding. We then added a navy damask pocket and the fleur design for the traditional feel.

To add a bit of classic modernity I added a Swarovski crystal on the fleur design and created a two-layer response card. Each piece contained a different fleur de lis element.

This invitation suite contained one insert card and the traditional response set. Since it was a 5x5 size, it did require additional postage.
