Knocking at 40's Door

Everyday, I have to check my tweets. I can't help it; I've become addicted! I do it to keep in touch with friends and business contacts, to get inspiration or encouragement and to see who's following who.

On one such day, I was looking to see if Christian Louboutin was on Twitter. In the process, I stumbled across a hilarious blog! Let me preface this by saying that I'm not 40 yet but I worry about being stylish and 'fab at 40.' What woman doesn't worry about the inevitable day when a younger woman stands near you and gets all the stares?!

Insert, 'Trying to Look Fab in Your Forties.' The humorous approach and the real world perspective on fashion and forty made my day. I love the language, the real life situations and the way she makes 40 seem okay. One post even helped me with what to do when my step-daughter, who at 13 already has my love of Chanel and saves her pennies to buy her own Betsey Johnson bags, will one day be eyeing my LV runway bag and asking to use it (biting nails feverishly).
